Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to remove any clothing during the session?
You will only need to remove your socks and shoes and roll up your pant legs.

What parts of my body will be reflexed?
A typical session involves mostly the feet, below the calves and occasionally, some hand work.

What should I do during the reflexology session?
Prior to the session, feel free to ask me any questions about the upcoming session. During reflexology, make yourself comfortable. Close your eyes, relax or fall asleep.  Please communicate if/when you need more or less pressure, a blanket, or anything else relevant to the session. If you have any questions regarding the session, feel free to ask.

How will I feel after the reflexology session?
Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience freedom from long-term physical symptoms developed from tension and stress. After an initial period of feeling slowed down, people often experience increased energy, and amazing feeling feet. Please drink a lot of water to encourage the circulation process.

Are there any medical conditions that would make reflexology inadvisable?
Yes. That's why it's imperative that, before you begin your session, I ask general health questions on my form. It is very important that you inform me of any health problems or medications you are taking. If you are under a doctor's care, it is strongly advised that you receive a written recommendation for reflexology prior to any session. Depending on the condition, approval from your doctor may be required.
